MISSION STATEMENT
This ministry encompasses reaching out to the lost, equipping and building up believers, caring for the poor and afflicted, and providing for those in need throughout southeast Asia. Our hearts’ desire is to continue the work of the Lord Jesus as He stated it:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
Because He anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed,
To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord.”
– Luke 4:18–19 (NASB)
MISSION FIELD
Our specific mission’s field is primarily located in Thailand and Burma (Myanmar) where less than 3% have received Christ and some have never heard the name of Jesus before. Below is a very brief summary of the many neglected and suffering within both countries:
- Burma is home to one of the largest populations of displaced peoples and longest lasting civil wars. Years of government attacks on their own people have resulted in serious human rights violations, thousands dead, devastated families, and one of the poorest countries in the world.
- Thailand shares a long western border with Burma and as a result, is home to tens of thousands of refugees. These refugees spend their days in designated camps receiving minimal supplies and education. Thailand is also home to a terrible sex industry that results in families being torn apart as children are kidnapped, abused and sold into sex slavery. The lives of these families are severely scarred with many turning to drugs and alcohol.
Ultimately, our passion is to see God bring freedom and healing to all so they may have an authentic relationship with the living God, knowing who He has created them to be and living an abundant life through Him.
