“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9
The end of the year is an active time as the staff and students of Grace House are not only dedicating themselves to school exams and studies but also to preparations for the Christmas outreaches and village ministries.
Outside of school the kids continue their daily activities as well as learn Thai and the bible from one of the local pastors as a special training course. The combination helps prepare the kids as they grow up to not only be able to communicate with the locals while in Thailand but to also live out their faith wherever they reside. Already the local village church has been growing and being more active in the community. Please pray for continued zeal in their spiritual growth.

Daily Bible Studies and Worship
Much more than in the States, music, drama and dance are a big part of the Kayan and Karenni culture. Often the whole village will be participating in festivals and events as opposed to just spectating. Given this emphasis in their backgrounds, many of the older kids have also been learning musical instruments and basics from local musicians that will help prepare them for further outreaches and activities.
As mentioned above, the staff and kids are preparing for a village Christmas party and outreach. This continues to be a special ministry time as it gives Christians the opportunity to present the meaning of Christmas on a broad scale. Please pray for a wide-open door for effective ministry.
Of course, kids are kids and want to have fun too. Below are some pictures of their day to day village life. Teaching
