We hope you have all been enjoying the summer months. Except for a few colds, we are doing well here. The rainy season is in full swing now and with it comes clouds and cooler temps each day – two of my favorite things. Tiff is also starting fall classes after summer courses and I am plugging along with my Thai courses. They are paying off as I have started leading simple bible studies in Thai. I must say I have some very patient cell group members!

Ministry Highlights

We have also had a full schedule of ministry with the starting of a new bible study in a Pa-Oh work camp on the south side of Chiang Mai. One family from church moved there this past year and welcomed us to share with their friends and coworkers. As it turns out, some of the families that we met at an orange orchard near the city of Fang 2 years ago have moved to this camp also. Please pray for our ability to connect and for open hearts.

We also had a wonderful team from Georgia join with us this past month. It was a packed schedule that resulted in a lot of blessings to the many people groups here. Some of the activities included a week of teaching at a bible school, medical clinics, clown shows, teaching in 2 schools, sharing at a few churches, and visiting the kids at Grace House. There were a lot of highlights with each group but to name just a few would then definitely have to include one of our translators committing her life to the Lord, testimonies of hope and the team bonding with the female students at the bible school, partnering in the disciple making at the bible school, the warm fellowship and laughs with all the team, and the many smiles and new relationships students, and all the schools asking us to come back again.  Please pray that God would continue to be glorified in His ministry here.
