“One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD and to meditate in His temple.” – Psalm 27:4
I recently had a nice change of pace from my normal schedule here as I traveled back to the states for about a month. It was a truly great time as I was able to reconnect with many people and catch up on the many new changes. I was also granted many occasions to share about the ministry – successes, needs, prayers, and updates – and to conduct the annual board meeting for Freedom Harvest. The meeting itself was beneficial as it added energy and helped strengthen our focus on the mission that we originally set out to do, which is to keep making disciples of all nations to the glory of God. There is also an update to our webpage which is now at www.freedomharvest.org/ and to the contact and support information. So please check it out and also the updates on facebook.
Furthermore, the trip to the states was a refreshing time and gave much encouragement in seeing the response to what God has been doing here. Not only that, but it was also an opportunity for me to enjoy time with family, lots of home cooking, Mexican food (even Chipotle counts), fall colors and frost, and American football. So while I consider all those to be good things, Tiff said I now need to exercise. Looks like I need more training!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9
Ministry Highlights
One immediate ministry highlight of being back was to see our kids at Grace House. This visit was especially good because the kids were on break from school and we were able to spend more time with them. In fact, Mae Hong Son had its annual festival while we were there and so we brought all the kids to enjoy. Some had never been to the town, and many had never been to a festival before.

One last highlight was the joy of seeing the growth in the kids’ faith. Our staff mentioned that they have noticed a jump in the maturity of the kids too. We also have 3 girls that recently received Christ as their Lord and Savior and plan to be baptized next month. After hearing from the girls, other kids are asking more about Jesus too. Please be in prayer for continued growth!

Finally, a special thank you to all those who have supported the ministry and for all who made my trip to the states so special. Thank you!
